yes you do need a tripod because if you didnt it would be very crazy and i want to be able to take those cool light photos.
when you use ios the higher it is the more light and grainy the photo is , yes you want to use a tripod because then your photo will be crazy and wont be still. my ideas are using cars or maybe like street lights or something. Aperture is when the circle in the camera is more wide which brings more light in or when its smaller it brings less light in.

Shutter speed is how quickly the photo is taken, aperture affects the depth of field, and ISO is how much light is being let into the photo. If your ISO is too high a lot of light will come into your photo and it will be too bright.
