How were these images made? How are these images different from the slow shutter speed images you have seen? How could you incorporate light painting & writing with a subject and not just the lighting effect? Where could you do these light painting images that you wouldn’t have thought of before?

  1. the images are made buy a lot of photos taken when a guy held his phone in a pattern. these are different than shutter speed because the definition looks better. we can make anything in the reach of our hands with this style.

    these images are different because it takes more skill and work to pull them off.
    using light painting and writing makes the image pop out more and different.
    you can do light paintings anywhere dark

  3. he uses this light thing and video tapes him doing it then uses it as a picture, images are different because they bring light into the picture and its fast motion maybe in a dark room or do it on top of a building or something different. i don’t really like these photos because i feel the thing ruins the pictures because your eyes just go to that i think the photos would look better without it.

  7. He made his shutter speed longer and took some light source and as it was taking the picture he spelled what he wanted to. Other light paintings seem to be random light streaks while these are well put together calligraphy, You could make sure that they go well together. You could do this with better backgrounds or really nice buildings.
