For this week’s photo challenge, you will create cloned images of the same person or pet. Don’t do objects as that’s too easy to duplicate naturally.
What makes this possible is taking multiple images at the same location. YOU WILL NEED A TRIPOD FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT. Once you have your images, you stack them in Photoshop using Layer/Duplicate Layer. Then you use layer masks to create the cloned effect.
MAKE SURE TO LEAVE PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN CLONES. IF THEY DO OVERLAP IT BECOMES VERY TRICKY TO FIX.
ONE PRACTICE IMAGE DUE ON 12/7
FINAL IMAGE DUE ON 12/9

What themes do you notice running through Takakura’s work?
takura uses photos of an Asian and clone the person.
What are they trying to say in these images?
i cant tell what they are trying to say.. im guessing peoples different moods??
What ideas do you get for your own cloned photography? im going to try to make it describe kind of who i am. i love animals a lot so i might clone myself with my pets..
