After viewing the above photos, answer the following questions using complete sentences. What happens with the idea of anxiety when you see it illustrated the way the photographer does in this series? How could you incorporate some of these ideas into your phobia images? What kind of understanding of anxiety do you get by looking at these photos?

  1. i see that shes sad and has built up anger in her photos showing how she feels. i could use like someone falling into a black hole (falling in anxiety) or use lots of sad emotions in the images or like twirling images. i understand that theirs different types of anxiety or sadness, like shes feeling darkness around her or that everything is draining her down.

  2. When i look at these images i get the meaning of anxiety and that is feeling trapped, scared, and alone. I can tell because the way she lays or sits is scared and her facial expressions look scared plus shes alone.

  3. i give you the sense of feeling that really happens when you have those conditions. Using what the mind makes you fear in a sense of reality. You get the real understanding of Anxiety and how real they are.

  4. The photos made the phobia seem very present, like another being, or herself trapped inside her own mind. Putting the same image of a person as them overthinking, or being trapped inside their mind is something I could do. These photos show anxiety well.

  5. anxiety is when someone freaks out or just shuts down the ability to do something.
    i could incorporate these images in to my ideas for phobia photos because anxiety is a real fear people have.
    i understand that anxiety isnt a good thing.

  7. it looks like they feel that way but the photographer use something tangible to make a representation in an image. I could incorporate maybe some text books and act like I’m lifting because school is putting heavy stress on me sometimes. they just don’t feel comfortable when I look at these photos because on lady has a cage on her head, she feels trapped.

  8. All that’s there is just black in white in the images and it shows what the person is thinking and what situation they feel like they are in.

  9. When you see these photos, anxiety seems more like a real thing, and more of a thing you can relate to.
    Im not sure how i would incorporate these ideas into my own work.
    I get the understanding that anxiety is a struggle,and it effects everyday life

  10. When i see these photos , i kind of see fear and seem frightened, it seems very life like though. I am not sure how to exactly use these ideas in my work just because they seem like they mean so much. I get a feeling that this can be related to everyone’s lives just because everyone knows this feeling

  11. It really gives you a feel for whats anxiety is like, I could incorporate it by getting more ideas for what to do, anxiety makes you feel like you’re lost and trapped.
